Each puzzle presents an empty grid with a hidden fleet of ships. Your mission is to figure out where every ship is located. The numbers along the right and bottom edges tell you exactly how many ship segments appear in that row or column. Some cells are revealed at the start as clues — a ship segment, a submarine, or open water.
Ships are placed horizontally or vertically (never diagonally) and cannot touch each other, not even on a corner. Every cell in the grid is either part of a ship or open water. Use the row and column counts, the given clues, and logical deduction to place the entire fleet.
